I already dismissed the idea of riding to Tinipak River before my trip to mindanao but when I told my “ligalig” rider friends Im leaving the following week, they manage to squeeze their time for a sudden ride.

It wasn't a good start as one of my rider friends fatty rear tire got slashed by a DIY metal bracket for a tire hugger which we later dubbed teasing him as "destroy it yourself” . With the help of our fellow group rider friends, we manage to get the tire replaced and set ourselves back on track.

The road to Daraitan wasnt easy especially for my two friends who had their bikes extended with fatty rear tires (which we also dubbed later as “fatty wakal”) and another photographer friend is in vespa. I always felt I am less fortunate when I ride with my zoomer x group with their expensive modifications and accessories while mine is all scratched up and still in stock condition, this time I'm not, I’m really proud to be in stock especially with this road condition. I just hope the government take their time in developing the road to Daraitan as it got lots of potential.

If you’re planning for a ride to Daraitan just take note of the rough road condition best to bring a dual sport bike or something built for off road and lastly, be sure to bring some basic tools just incase something happens to your bike as there’s only one motorcycle shop that i know and if you're unfortunate you might have to push your bike all the way to the highway.
